Ryo Kita, MD, PhD
Senior Data Scientist @Notable Labs
Ryo Kita has a BA from Northwestern University, and an MD/PhD from Stanford, where he focused on computational biology and integrated multiomic analyses. His industry focus has been on precision medicine and using data to drive changes in clinical care. Prior to joining Notable, he was a product scientist at 23andMe developing polygenic risk scores for predicting the risk of Type 2 diabetes and other chronic diseases.
Steven Schaffert, PhD
Senior Data Scientist @Notable Labs
Steven Schaffert has a BS from Tufts University and a PhD from Stanford, where he focused on the development of the adaptive immune system. His interests lie at the intersection of immunology and computational biology. Prior to Notable, he worked as a Data Scientist & Biostatistician at Stanford where he studied T cell receptor and B cell receptor diversity in public bulk RNAseq datasets.
